Super Money Chiangmai, in short

Super Money Chiangmai is a northern chain with five tracked branches. Two are in Chiang Mai, on Loi Kroh Road by the Night Bazaar and on Sri Phum Road (Ratchawithi) at the north moat of the Old City; the other three are one each in Chiang Rai on Prasopsuk Road, Lampang on Boonyawat Road and Nong Khai on Meechai Road. In Lampang it is the only counter the site tracks; in Chiang Rai and Nong Khai it is one of two.

Hours are 08:30 to 17:30 where the branch is open, and only two of the five open on Sunday, the two in Chiang Mai, so outside Chiang Mai it is a weekday counter. The board is short, 14 currencies, against the 38 to 40 of the big chains, so check the live table if you are carrying anything unusual. Rates are read from supermoneychiangmai.com.

On 28 September 2026 its best US dollar buying rate was 33.50 baht against a mid-market rate of 33.42, 0.01 below the best rate tracked in Bangkok that day, as near as makes no difference, so there is no reason to carry dollars past it to change elsewhere.
