Money changer chains in Thailand
The exchange companies we track, how many branches each has, and which is paying best today.
Thailand's cash exchange market is a handful of chains plus a few well-known independents. Two chains, Superrich Thailand (green) and SuperRich 1965 (orange), dominate Bangkok and set the pace for everyone else. T.T. Currency Exchange covers Pattaya with dozens of counters and nowhere else. Twelve Victory is the one network that reaches the provinces, from Hua Hin to the Laos border. The rest are single counters that people search for by name.
The branches of a chain do not all pay the same. A flagship counter in a competitive block often quotes a few satang more than the same company's counter in a suburban mall, and some chains run a lower tier of partner branches. The table ranks each chain by its best branch for your currency today; the chain's own page lists every branch with its rate, so you can see how wide the spread inside one company is.
